THE CURIOSITY CABINET
“The cabinet opens in, not out…”
This twisted cabaret by Krista Marushy was produced in 2017 by Naked Thieves Theatre Collective, and was voted “Best of Fest” when it premiered for the first time at the Calgary Fringe Festival that year. It’s a story about a woman and a cabinet and the Curiosities she finds inside it. Chorus, fairytale, nightmare, poetry, and song take audience on a mind-bending mystery ride.
The following are a few samples are the recordings created for use during rehearsals. Due to constraints, original production was almost entirely vocal. Fuller orchestration recordings currently in development. Full show song list at the bottom of page.
